Environmental Commitment
The Aylmer Express believes that environmental responsibility is everyone’s business. We reduce, re-use and recycle whenever possible. We confirm our commitment to reducing our environmental footprint to help create a cleaner world for today and tomorrow. We use high-efficiency lights throughout our plant decreasing our demand on the power grid.
Our presses use ink made from vegetable sources and have run alcohol free for many years. We have installed a chemistry-free computer to plate system resulting in zero toxic waste from the plate making process.
When it comes to sustainability, we mean business.
We are an FSC® certified printer, and offer a full range of recycled and environmentally responsible stocks including reclaimed papers from environmentally-conscious mills. These include Forest Stewardship Council® (FSC) and Sustainable Forestry Initiative (SFI) certified papers. We are dedicated to environmental responsibility and forest sustainability.
Outside our physical plant, we actively and financially support conservation areas, community recycling initiatives and other efforts to preserve and enhance the natural world around us.
